  1. Shoutout to our own Jessica Lynn Santoro! Governor Dan McKee was on hand as she was crowned Rhode Island’s 2022 Cherry Blossom Princess on Tuesday. “Jessica’s compassion and dedication to giving back to her community is truly inspiring,” said the governor. (@GovDanMcKee)
  2. Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School students and staff members set the example for being kind and thinking of others. We learned Tuesday that the school “donated food items to be donated to the St. Joseph Parish Food Cupboard and personal care items to be donated to a local shelter.” This is the way! (The Valley Breeze)
  3. Woonsocket Pride 2022 is just around the corner. Organizers started circulating a community interest form on Tuesday. The goal is to make this year’s event bigger than last year’s parade and gathering at WWII Park. (Action Network)
  4. If you have time on April 3, head over to Primitive Goods Supply store on Mendon Street in Uxbridge. The delightful shop will celebrate its fifth anniversary. “I think this is a good one because we made it past the pandemic,” the owner said. (The Yankee Express)
  5. If you are a frequent patron of the Bally’s Twin River Casino, you might have lost your favorite slot machine. One of the machines went up in flames Tuesday morning around 3:45 a.m. “Officials say the fire was caused by a mechanical failure.” The casino is still open. (WPRI)
