State Trooper Log: Wanted Armed Robber Caught At Traffic Stop

Troopers arrest man for failing to show on pot, suspended license charges:

At 5:36 p.m. March 28, Troopers arrested Odibert Turvi, age 18, of 244 Morning Heights Boulevard, Woonsocket for 1) Sixth Division District Bench Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on 2/4/2013 on an original charge of Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense, originating out of Woonsocket Police Department 2) Sixth Division District Bench Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on 2/21/2013 on an original charge of Driving with Suspended License originating out of State Police Chepachet Barracks.

Turvi was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute.

Troopers arrest man wanted for armed robbery after traffic stop

At 12:50 p.m., March 29, Troopers arrested Randy L. Santana, age 21, of 428 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI for an 1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1st Degree Armed Robbery out of the Woonsocket Police Department, 2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Burglary out of the Woonsocket Police Department, 3) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Conspiracy out of the Woonsocket Police Department, a 4) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving Without a License out of the Lincoln Police Department, and 5) Driving Without a License.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Arnold Street in the City of Woonsocket. Santana was processed and later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
