Training Graduates on Track to Employment Via FRCA Courses
Program prepares grads for careers as Electronic Health Records and Health Information Technicians, Medical Billers, Bill & Account Collectors, Medical Secretaries.
Thirteen people who successfully completed Family Resources Community Action (FRCA) HealthcareReimbursement Specialist and Administrative Office Management trainings celebrated their success at a graduation ceremony March 1.
“I see potential, I see motivation, I see professionally employed individuals,” said HRS Instructor Melissa Rouleau during the ceremony.

Amanda Catteau, a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist graduate who has been unemployed since 2011 said, “This was the best ten weeks of my life. It will really help me with my career.”
Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist graduates also included Agatha Alvarez, Amanda Bartels, Jean Bateman, ElizabethBenoit, Grinly Seijo Castillo, Amanda Catteau, Michael Mayette, Wendy Tolliver and Cecillia Williams.

Administrative Office Management graduates were Michael Downing, Stefanie Lewis, Sol Vega, and Michelle White.
The Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist course is a 10-week training program providing hands-on instruction and prepares graduates for careerss as Electronic Health Records and Health Information Technicians, Medical Billers, Bill and Account Collectors, and Medical Secretaries.
The Administrative Office Management course is a 10-week training that provides hands-on instruction and prepares graduates for careers as Administrative Assistants, Receptionists, Customer Service Representatives and Secretaries. Participants also receive job-readiness training for assistance with writing resumes, interviewing and other preparation to improve their chances of employment success.
Students enrolled in the program are linked to other resources such as the Financial Opportunity Center to help strengthen their financial condition. FRCA iscurrently enrolling for the March 18 start date for these classes and for the Janitorial Training program.
