- The Woonsocket Housing Authority (WHA) is shaking things up. On Thursday, the board elected to terminate its contract with the executive director. This action came on the heels of an investigation that termed some of the director’s business decisions “disturbing failures.” In addition, he was let go by the WHA. (The Call)
- Mount Saint Charles is celebrating National Assistant Principals Week by giving a shoutout to Ed Burke, who is filling this role at the school. He has been there for three decades and “is visible throughout the building all day, every day. He is always available to students & faculty members with a listening ear & measured advice.” (Mount Saint Charles)
- On Sunday, Our Saviour's Church at 500 Smithfield Road held its first Egg Hunt in two years. This Palm Sunday tradition is lots of fun, even for the adults who had some time to just hang out. (Our Saviour Parish PNCC)
- A Providence mother of three needs a stem cell transplant match. We learned on Saturday that she only has a 29% chance of finding it. “Anyone who wants to help or who is looking for more information about becoming a donor can call the Rhode Island Blood Center.” (WJAR)
