Woonsocket 2017 Halloween Sex Offender Safety Map

WOONSOCKET, RI—Before the kids go out trick or treating on Halloween, it is a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. According to the Rhode Island Sex Offender Listings, 93 high-level sex offenders live in Woonsocket. The names, addresses, and convictions of Level 2 and Level 3 offenders are posted online by the state.

Level 3 registered sex offenders are considered "high risk" to repeat a sex crime. Level 2 offenders pose a “moderate” risk to re-offend.

The identities of Level 1 offenders are not publicized online.

The offenders are not wanted by police—and it’s illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

More specific information on the sex offenders is on the map at the bottom of the page. Click on the marker to see the information about the sex offender living at that address. In cases where more than one offender lives at that house, the additional names are broken out in the list below. Two sex offenders are not included. One is incarcerated, and the other has a temporary address which the state did not provide.

Level 3 Offenders:

• Nathan Bourk, 34, of 30 Ascension St., apt. 305. He was convicted of failure to register and second degree child molestation. The victim was an 11-year-old boy whom he knew.
• Devon King, 31, of 402 South Main St., apt. 1. He was convicted of second degree child molestation. The victim was an 6-year-old girl whom he knew.
• Joshua Martin, 37, of 267 High St., apt. 2 rear. He was convicted of failure to register and sexual misconduct (intercourse without consent). The victim was an 16-year-old girl whom he knew.
• Richard Smith, 51, of 116 Greene St., Evergreen Nursing Home, Room 14. He was convicted of 2nd Degree Child Molestation; victims were 6-year-old girls whom he knew.
• Thomas Smith, 58, of 233 High St., apt. 101. He was convicted of first and second degree child molestation. The victims were an 9-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy whom he knew.
• Robert Spaulding, 39, of 402 South Main St., Apt 1. He was convicted of Failure to Register, and 2nd Degree Child Molestation. Victims were two girls, 12 and 13 year. Both were known to the offender.

Level 2 Offenders

• Luis Barreto, 48, of 30 Ascension St., apt. 201. He was convicted of first degree child molestation. The victim was a 12-year-old-girl whom he knew.
  
• Steven Card, 39, of 33 Hamlet Ave., apt. 3 He was convicted of second degree child molestation. The victim was a 9-year-old girl whom he knew.
• Warren Charron, 38, of 30 Ascension Street, Apt. 304. He was convicted of second degree sexual assault. The victim was a girl, 17, whom he knew.
• Charles Gorton, 48, of 30 Ascension St., apt. 207. He was convicted of failure to register and second degree child molestation. The victims were two girls, 4, and between 7 and 8 whom he knew.
• Luis Pabon, 62, of 128 Social Street, apt. 14, 3rd floor. He was convicted of failure to register and second degree child molestation. The victim was a girl, 9, whom he knew.
• John St. Germain, 30, of 30 Ascension Street, Apt. 1. He was convicted of failure to register and second degree child molestation. The victim was a girl, 12, whom he knew.
• Victor Torres, 59, of 30 Ascension Street, Apt. 307. He was convicted of first degree child molestation. The victim was a girl, 8, whom he knew.
