Woonsocket Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Teenager
Everett Mello, 52, of Woonsocket, was arrested after he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old victim several times in Warwick, prosecutors say.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man is facing charges after state prosecutors on Tuesday said he sexually assaulted a teenager several times.
Attorney General Peter Neronha said Everett Mello, 52, was charged on Jan. 10, with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of simple assault.
Mello was arrested on June 15, 2023, after he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old victim several times in Warwick on May 9, 2023, prosecutors said.

Mello is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in Kent County Superior Court.
