Woonsocket Man Indicted for Child Molestation
David Bottoms was arrested last year by Woonsocket police and has been held at the state prison.

WOONSOCKET, RI— A 45-year-old city man arrested last year for molesting children has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury.
The grand jury last week reported out an indictment charging David Bottoms, of 277 Mason St., with one count of first-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree child molestation.
Bottoms allegedly molested a child under 14 between Jan. 1, 2013 and Feb. 1, 2014.

Bottoms has been held at the Adult Correctional Institution in Cranston since his arrest last year by Woonsocket police.
Initially, Bottoms was accused of molesting a girl under 14 and raping another gun under 14 between Sept. 1 of 2010 and Jan. 21 of 2015.

Bottoms also allegedly contributed to the delinquency of the two victims by introducing them to smoking crack cocaine, said Rhode Island Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin.
