Woonsocket Man Indicted on Child Molestation Charges
Raymond Frenette was arrested in September by Woonsocket police.

WOONSOCKET, RI—A 50-year-old Woonsocket man has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury on two counts child molestation.
Raymond Frenette, of 181 Progresso Ave., Woonsocket, was arrested in September after an investigation by Woonsocket police.
Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin said in a news release that Frenette was indicted by the grand jury on one count of first-degree child molestation and a count of second-degree child molestation.

The alleged crimes occurred between Nov. 5 of 2014 and Aug. 14 of 2015, the AG’s office said.
The victim was a person under 14, according to court records.

Frenette is due to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 23.
Frenette is currently free on bail.
