In 2015, the Woonsocket Department of Public Works installed more than 2,400 tons of asphalt.
Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt said that "the amount of asphalt installed in our City by City workers is amazing. Woonsocket is leading the way in paving our own roads.”
Residents are asked to be patient during construction as temporary delays and disruptions are likely.
The city will announce additional roads to be addressed later this spring.
