Woonsocket Police Seek Man Exposing Himself to Kids Near Coleman School

WPD, Woonsocket Education Department issue alert about repeated indecent exposure reports.

The Woonsocket Police Department is seeking information about a man who has exposed himself to children walking to Kevin Coleman Elementary School four times since the start of school, including yesterday morning.

The WPD and Woonsocket Education Department issued an alert this morning about the incidents, the last of which occurred Thursday at 9 a.m., according to Woonsocket Police Detective Jamie Paone, public information officer for the department. Three girls walking to school together reported a driver had exposed himself to them as he drove alongside them on the road. The man did not say anything to the girls or attempt to approach them, Paone said.

Police report the man is a white male, between 25 to 30 years old, with blond hair, wearing glasses. The man was driving a silver four door sedan during the reported incidents. The description of the man and his behavior were similar in all four reported incidents since the start of the school year this fall, Paone said.

Paone said police suspect the same man is repsonsible for all the reported incidents, and are asking anyone who has seen him to contact them to help detectives gather information on the case.
