Ashley River Bridge Bike Lane Study Complete
Results of study to be presented at Brittlebank Park

CHARLESTON - Mayor Joesph Riley and City Councilman Teddy Prior, Sr., will speak at an event at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brittlebank Park downtown during a presentation of the results of a traffic study for the northbound Ashley River Bridge.
The plan calls for converting one of the bridge lanes to a bicycle and pedestrian lane to provide better non-auto access to the penisula from West Ashley.
The study was performed by HDR and funded through the Charleston County Transportation Sales Tax Program.
