Former Substitute, Church Volunteer Sentenced for Sexual Assaults
Eric Nelson Vancleave, who still faces other charges, was sentenced to 20 years.

A former Lexington School District 2 substitute teacher and volunteer with a Cayce church has been sentenced to 20 years for sexually assaulting a minor.
Eric Nelson Vancleave, according to a report from WIS television, was convicted of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, committing a lewd act on a minor, criminal sexual conduct, and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
Vancleave was arrested in 2010 and charged with assaulting a teenage boy at Barnwell State Park on camping trips between 2002 and 2005.

He faces more charges in Lexington County for alleged assaults at his home in the Cayce-West Columbia area as well as Barnyard RV Park on U.S. 1 between Lexington and West Columbia.
