The work to improve traffic flow in and around Lexington took to the skies on Monday afternoon.
Electrical workers near the corner of Main Street and Sunset Boulevard connected power lines high above the street while traffic continued unneeded below.
The work, based at one of Lexington's busiest intersections and continuing for a couple blocks in each direction, is meant to improve driver and pedestrian safety.
