Want A Live Play-By-Play During A USC Game? There's An App
New App launched through Gamecocksonline.com gives fans more options to know what's going on at the game, even when they can't be there.
Hoping to increase the fan experience, GamecocksOnline.com is introducting a new mobile application for USC fans using iPhone and Android devices.
Fans can get up-to-the-minute news, scores, live game play-by-play, stats, schedules, rosters and photo galleries for the 2011-12 school year, according to a release by USC Athletics.
The new mobile application is free to download, however users can also purchase live audio broadcasts with a paid in-application upgrade. The live audio upgrade costs $0.99 per month for iPhone users and $4.99 per year for Android users.

- Live game scoringPrevious game and next game schedules and scores
- Live scoring updates
- Play-by-play coverage when game is live
- Player and team stats for football games on both iPhone and Android

- Rosters
- Photo galleries
- In-app alert system
- Sharing via email and Facebook
- Future versions will include Twitter sharing
The official iPhone application of South Carolina Athletics is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices and requires iPhone OS 4.2 or above. The Android version is compatible with any Droid device running Android 2.2 or above.
The application can be downloaded at the iPhone App Store and Android Market by searching for “South Carolina Gamecocks” and looking for the icon labeled “Official”.
