  1. Today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the Illuminate Myrtle Beach Festival is being held at the Horry Georgetown Technical College Grand Strand Campus Conference Center at 950 Crabtree Lane.   3. Matthew Michael Desomma, 18, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a wreck involving death. The three-car accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. last Saturday morning in North Myrtle Beach around mile marker 5 on S.C. 31. According to Myhorrynews, "Cristian Alejandro Leon Oliva died of injuries sustained in the crash. He was 28 years old and lived in Supply, North Carolina. Desomma was arrested and booked at J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Saturday. He was given a $10,000 bond and bailed out of jail later that day." (Myhorrynews)
