  1. Thursday, March 9, marks the return of the Free Concert Series "Nights at Nance," in Downtown Myrtle Beach. Featuring performances from different local bands the weekly concerts are set to be held every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nance Plaza. Bring beach chairs, friends and family and celebrate. Here is a list of bands scheduled according to wpde.com: March 9 – Chocolate Chip and Company Band, March 23 – Coastal Boys, April 6 – Tamir & Company, April 20 – Slick James Fire & Funk, May 4 – Julio and The Saltines, May 18 – What’s Up Chuck and June 1 – Rich Johnson Band.   3. Looks like some cooler weather is coming later this week. The winds are going to shift from the south today funneling in warmer air across the Carolinas. We should have highs reaching in the upper 60s here in the Grand Strand and 70 inland. Tuesday is projected to be the warmest day of the week with highs expected to reach into the upper 70s along the beaches and low 80s for areas along I-95. Then temperatures are expected to dip on Wednesday with a highs only expected to reach the low 60's. Thursday is expected to be chilly, with a high only reaching into the high fifties and Saturday temperatures are expected to be cool with a high in the low 50s. (WMBF)
