Here are the top three stories today in Myrtle Beach:

  1. According to WMBF, "authorities in part of the Grand Strand are asking for help to find a missing woman. The North Myrtle Beach Police Department said 43-year-old April Yarborough was last seen at around 4 a.m. Friday in the area of 33rd Avenue South. Police added Yarborough was wearing a green jacket with fur around the collar and gray pants. She was also traveling on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call the NMBPD at 843-280-5511."   2. Three armed robberies that were reported on Sunday are currently under investigation. According to wpde.com, "all three robberies were reported to the [Myrtle Beach Police] department between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The locations involved are two businesses on South Kings Highway and one business on 3rd Avenue South. No injuries have been reported and investigators are working to determine if the cases are related. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 843-918-1382. Callers can remain anonymous."(wpde.com)
  3. Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Women's Club will be sponsoring a Boutique Auction "Fun" Raiser featuring women's new and gently used clothing and accessories. The event will be held on Sunday, January 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church's Parish Life Center Hall located at 1633 Waverly Road Pawley's Island. The cost is $5 in advance $6 at the door.
