Here are the top three stories today in Myrtle Beach:
- A motorcycle accident in Surfside Beach on Friday afternoon left three people injured. The accident happened in the area of Beaver Run Boulevard. According to WMBF, "the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Horry County Police Department are investigating."(WMBF)
- After decade in the making, the plan is finally seeing some results. The Grand Strand is experiencing “explosive growth” which is great news for area job markets as well as small businesses. Now the challenge is making sure the infrastructure in place to support this growth that's where the ‘Partnership Grand Strand Foundation’ comes into play. The foundation is currently working hard to ensure that the growth is moving forward smoothly.(wpde.com)
- Take note, the Conway DMV is temporarily closing for renovations that may take as long as three weeks. During the renovation period customers are being asked to visit one of the other branches including: Myrtle Beach at 1330 Howard Parkway or 1200 21st Ave North, North Myrtle Beach at 107 Highway 57 North or Marion/Mullins at 2757 East Highway 76.
