Here are the top four stories today in Myrtle Beach:
- A residential fire broke out on Clovis Cirlce in the Forestbrook area of Horry County early Monday morning. Horry County Fire as well as the Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the call. No injuries were reported and the fire was brought under control. However, two structures near the home sustained heat damage and two people have been displaced and are being offered assistance from the American Red Cross. (wpde.com)

- A three-vehicle accident happened Sunday evening at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Highway 501 in Conway. It left one dead and another injured. According to wpde.com," a 2010 Nissan SUV and a 2018 Nissan Sedan were traveling north on Highway 501 while a 2018 Dodge SUV was traveling south, according to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgway. Ridgeway said the 2010 Nissan SUV sideswiped the 2018 Nissan Sedan causing the SUV to travel off the road to the left, cross the median and enter southbound traffic before hitting the 2018 Dodge SUV head-on.
The 30-year-old driver of the 2010 Nissan SUV passed away at the scene and the driver of the 2018 Dodge SUV was injured. The South Carolina Department of Public Safety and the Horry County Police Department are investigating. (wpde.com) - Summertime is the busy season on the Grand Strand and many businesses are in desperate need of more workers. The Bagel Factory, which has five Grand Strand locations, is one of those businesses and the owners are trying to beef up the staffing levels. According to WBTW, "we are gonna need more help just to get through the summer,” part-owner Jason Luster said. He is looking for quality employees that will be able to do it all." (WBTW)
