Here are the top three stories today in Myrtle Beach:

  1. Now there are even more places for visitors to take photos of themselves as they enjoy the fresh sea air and breathtaking views on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Two new selfie stations: sea turtles and funny fish are the latest selfie stations placed on the boardwalk by the Myrtle Beach City government. The new stations join two others that were completed last summer while the boardwalk received some new decking and other improvements. (WMBF
  2. When you’re in the market for a new home, hunting down every new listing in the area can be a tedious endeavor. That’s why we’ve gone ahead and done the prep work for you. (Myrtle Beach Patch)
  3. The Myrtle Beach Air Force base officially closed in March, 30 years ago, however, the history of the base is still celebrated today. Founded in the 1950s the base was instrumental in facilitating missions during the Cold War, Vietnam and Desert Storm. If you are interested in the history of the base, you can take one of the Myrtle Beach Historical Trolley Tours, which run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and go to see the A-10 flown in Desert Storm on display at Warbird Park in the Market Common District.
