  2. The burn ban that was put in place last week due to weather conditions has been lifted in Horry County. Reportedly, the ban was put into place because of the extreme fire danger due to the low humidity, dry and windy conditions. Now that the ban has been lifted, according to WMBF, "The county asks residents to continue to follow all regulations set forth in the Horry County ordinance regarding open burning. More information about open burning in Horry County can be found by clicking here. All open burning in Horry County requires you to contact the South Carolina Forestry Commission at 1-800-986-5404, before the burn is started." (WMBF)
  3. It's time for the 34th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show which will take place March 16-17-18 at the old Myrtle Square Mall. Show hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite, please register your car or truck online as the event is expected to sell out. For more information click here.
