Here are the top stories today in Myrtle Beach:

  1. Helping those in need on Christmas! According to wpde.com, "On Christmas Day, volunteers served warm meals and gave out clothing to folks in need. There was Christmas music, gifts and even Jolly Old St. Nicholas made an appearance. It’s the fifth year Sonshine Recovery Ministries has served Christmas meals and given clothes to people who need them the most. "We just want everyone to know that these are humans, these are someone’s mother, father, son or daughter, somebody’s grandmother, grandfather. Where most people say they brought it on themselves, or leave them alone they’re just trashy – they’re human, they’re God’s children," said Dr. Tim Carter, the founder of Sonshine Recovery Ministries.(wpde.com)
