- Two local Chattanooga businesses are teaming up to provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Ian. The Pins and Needles Quilt Shop and Miller's Fine Ale House are currently accepting donations to be delivered to residents in Florida. Accepted items include bottled water, toiletries, blankets, batteries, prepackaged food, and towels. Donated items can be dropped off at Miller's Ale House. (WDEF)
- On Saturday, a 42-year-old Hamilton County man died while attempting to load his boat into Chickamauga Lake. The incident occurred near Kings Point Road while the individual was loading a Bayliner cabin cruiser boat during high winds. The man was not wearing a life jacket during the incident. The Chattanooga Fire Department, Hamilton County EMS, and Hamilton County STARS were among the various agencies that responded to the incident. (News Channel 9)
- The first Chattanooga Drive Electric Festival was held on Saturday. The goal of the event was to promote and accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in the Chattanooga area. Participants were able to view various electric cars, trucks, ATVs, buses, and bikes during the festival. Drive Electric Scenic City has announced plans to host similar events in the future. (WDEF)
