  1. Chattanooga Choo Choo has announced a full-scale renovation project. The project coincides with the recent sale of some of the institution's vintage train cars. The renovation project is being led by Trestle Studio and Northpoint Partners. The project will construct a 150-person capacity ballroom, an outdoor pool, and new restaurants while expanding the hotel to nearly 130 rooms. (WDEF News 12)
  2. Hamilton County's Mayor has accused the county attorney of wasting taxpayer funds. According to Mayor Weston Wamp, County Attorney Rhuebin Taylor was still working private cases while working as the county's attorney. Mayor Wamp says this is why he wants to end Taylor's contract with the county. (MyFox Chattanooga)
  3. The Chattanooga Food Bank has broken ground on a new distribution center in Dalton. The new expansion will be at 1111 South Hamilton Avenue and will be called the Chattanooga Area Food Bank Northwest Georgia Branch Pierce Distribution Center. According to the organization's president and CEO, "this expansion will benefit everyone." (The Chattanoogan)
