Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:
- Chattanooga State Oktoberfest Open House will be on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Open House will be on the school's main campus. There will be free food, music, face painting, candy, a petting zoo, and more. Representatives from the school's academic divisions and student organizations will be available to answer questions. - Hamilton County Schools honored community partners at its Partners in Education Awards Breakfast on Wednesday. UTC's Division of Diversity and Engagement sponsored the event. - The Hamilton County Health Department has published a list of Halloween safety tips. The department recommends wearing bright reflective costumes, choosing non-toxic makeup, well-fitted flame-resistant costumes, and carrying flashlights or glowsticks while trick-or-treating.
