Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. Chattanooga State Community College will be hosting its free 7th annual Latin Festival on Saturday, Oct. 1. The festival will be held at the college's main campus on Amnicola Hwy between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The festival is meant to celebrate the area's American Latino community and Hispanic Heritage Month.   2. Master Gardeners Of Hamilton County will be hosting its Fall Garden Festival on Sep. 24. The festival will be held at the arboretum and the service center parking lot. Master Gardeners will be sharing gardening knowledge with the Chattanooga community during the festival through exhibits and demonstrations. There will also be garden-inspired activities for children. (Chattanooga Pulse)
  3. Almost 400 individuals participated in this year's Chattanooga Stair Climb Memorial event. Participants climbed stairs at AT&T Field. The event is meant to honor and recognize the sacrifices made by first responders during the attacks on the World Trade Center 21 years ago. (WDEF News 12)
