  1. A Husky was mistaken for a coyote during a shooting incident in Chattanooga. The dog, named Beowulf, is currently recovering from the gunshot wound to his snout. He reportedly escaped his owners' home during a wedding ceremony. McKamey Animal Center was able to locate Beowulf in the East Brainerd Elementary parking lot. (WZTV)
  2. The Chattanooga Police Department arrested a candidate running for governor of Tennessee on Monday. According to the department, Charles Van Morgan was arrested after complaints were made about him harassing voters at the Hamilton County Elections Commission. He has been accused of yelling in people's faces, cursing, and screaming about politics. He will appear before Judge Lila Statom on Jan. 10. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. River City Company and Outshine Adventure are hosting the first Witch & Warlock Paddle on Saturday. Participants will be able to kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard through the Tennessee River while dressed in Halloween costumes. There will be rentals available for a $35 charge.
