- The Head of the Hooch Regatta was held in the Tennessee River this last weekend. The event attracted large crowds of participants and spectators in downtown Chattanooga. There were over 5,000 rowers representing 180 different clubs. Rowers ranged from middle school students to 86-year-olds. (WDEF)
- The Chattanooga Police Department is currently investigating a Sunday morning homicide. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Block Street. Responding officers found one teenager with multiple gunshot wounds upon arrival. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his wounds. (WTVC)
- The Chattanooga Tourism Co. has opened its new Chattanooga Information Center. The new facility is located on the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza. It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The Chattanooga Information Center is meant as a hub for the downtown Riverfront District. (The Chattanoogan)
