- A man is now facing criminal charges after a Chattanooga hospital nurse claims that he sexually assaulted her during a blood draw. Melvin Holmes, 72 years old, turned himself in at the Silverdale Jail after the incident that occurred on Monday. He has been charged with sexual battery. (The Chattanoogan)
- The City of Chattanooga Department of Parks and Outdoors Summit of Softball Complex will be hosting a drive-through holiday light display. The experience will open on Friday, Nov. 18, and operate through Sunday, Jan. 1. Tickets are currently on sale for the "Magic of Lights" experience. Click to get tickets. (Chattanooga Pulse)
- Chattanooga Guns And Hoses, A Battle Of The Badges will be held on Nov. 4 at Camp Jordan Arena. This amateur boxing event will be raising money for the YMCA's Youth Community Action Program. Local law enforcement will be competing against local firefighters. Since its first fundraiser in 2009, the event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the program. (The Chattanoogan)
