  1. A Chattanooga woman claims that Tennessee's victory over Alabama caused her to go into labor. Jordan Johnson was watching the game at her Chattanooga home when she began to feel contractions. She said she did not feel the contractions until going to bed due to the adrenaline from the game. Heidi Chase was born a few hours after midnight as another Vols fan. (WWNYTV.com)
  2. Hamilton County commissioners are considering a transition to a civil service system. The resolution is meant to address workplace culture concerns in the general government. Hamilton County Mayor Wamp claims that the transition is "insane" and inappropriate. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. Guthrie Farms is hosting Fun On The Farm from Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 30. The event will feature a corn maze, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, an animal petting barn, games, and more. The event will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday's hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
