The Fort Worth City Council will meet at 6 p.m. March 8 in the Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall, 200 Texas St.

  • Members will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2022 Comprehensive Plan and vote on an ordinance approving the plan.
  • The Council will vote on an ordinance reappointing municipal judges, the chief judge and deputy chief judge for two-year terms ending March 31, 2024.
  • Members will vote on dedicating 3 acres of parkland in North Z Boaz Park as a natural area/open space in perpetuity as required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Urban Outdoor Recreation Grant Program.
  • Special presentations: Fort Worth Sister Cities will administer the Citizen Diplomat Oath to student ambassadors. A certificate of recognition will be presented for Alpha Theta Sigma 83rd Chartering Anniversary.
  • There are 20 zoning cases on the agenda.
  • Members will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2022 Comprehensive Plan and vote on an ordinance approving the plan.
