City Of Fort Worth: Notice For Residents With Wednesday, Thursday Waste Collections

Residents who did not have their waste collection picked up last Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 23 and 24, due to the winter weather, are able to set out extra bags of garbage during the regular scheduled pickup this Wednesday and Thursday.

Extra bags of garbage should be equivalent to the size of cart you have – 32, 64 or 96 gallons.

Garbage and recycling waste will be collected by separate trucks — garbage carts with one truck, and the extra bags of garbage placed at the curb by another truck.

Residents do not need to report a missed collection unless waste has not been picked up by 7 p.m. on the assigned collection day.

There will be no yard waste service on Wednesday and Thursday this week so crews can concentrate on garbage collection.
