“The city has an amazing opportunity to enhance a beloved facility with the overhaul of Forest Park Pool,” said District 9 Councilmember Elizabeth Beck. “We want to make sure we get it right for the community, which is why it’s so important for you to attend the upcoming meeting to share your thoughts before we begin the design process.”

Park & Recreation Department representatives will discuss schematic plans for replacing the Forest Park Pool, 2850 Park Place Ave. This will be the second public meeting and the first as part of the design phase of the project.

The rebuilt Forest Park Pool is expected to include eight 50-meter lanes, a bathhouse, leisure pool and play features. The 2022 Bond Program includes $11 million in funding for replacing the Forest Park Pool.
