  1. Authorities are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man who was attacked and killed by a bull in nearby Ferris on Monday, Apr. 24. When deputies arrived, the bull was destroying property and preventing emergency crews from reaching the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The bull was euthanized, and an investigation is ongoing with no charges filed yet as of Tuesday. (The Dallas Morning News)
  2. Wayne McCurley, Public Works Director for the City of Wilmer, was recognized by Commissioner John Wiley Price for his exceptional service in working on the Dallas County Inland Port. McCurley was awarded a 2022 Special Projects Award for his contribution to several key Inland Port projects. (TX Metro News)
  3. An 18-year-old boy was fatally shot near Oak Cliff Park in North Texas on Saturday, leaving his family devastated. Two other 18-year-olds were also shot and hospitalized, with their condition currently unknown as of Tuesday. The grieving family is pleading for anyone with information to come forward and contact Dallas police. (NBC DFW News)
