  1. A homeless man is now a suspect in a second murder case. Nicholas Fields, 30, was convicted of killing David Betts in East Dallas a little more than a year ago and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. When police went to arrest Fields, they found a second victim near his camp. Irving police say they also found additional evidence linking Fields to the East Dallas crime. The second murder case remains pending. (KRLD)
  2. This spring, Neighborhood Code Representatives (NCR) will be visiting Dallas ISD elementary schools for an interactive learning experience. With the Waste in Place educational curriculum, NCR aims to spread awareness to students about litter prevention, waste reduction, beautification, and community improvement. Following the in-class learning portion, students will experience firsthand how their efforts help improve the world they live in. With litter pickers, trash bags, and assistance from NCRs, students will work to pick up waste near and around their campus. (Dallas ISD)
  3. Craighead Green Gallery's exhibit "Captured: Beautiful Strangers" by Janice Provost will launch Friday, Apr. 21 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Provost, owner and chef of Parigi Restaurant, has a new talent to share: photography. The exhibit is set to run through May 13 and features shots of strangers during her travels abroad. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
