  1. On Thursday, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homeless and its 19 federal member agencies announced an initiative to tackle unsheltered homelessness in six different cities, including Dallas. Other locations include Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, the Phoenix metropolitan area, and the state of California. This two-year initiative is a part of the Biden Administration's efforts to reduce our country's homeless population by 25 percent by the time 2025 ends. (KERA News)
  2. According to tenants of the St. James Manor Apartments in Dallas, they've gone three weeks without gas for hot water or cooking. A spokesperson for the complex's property manager claimed that the gas services were cut off for the entire apartment building after there was a report of a leak. Pressure tests were then required in each of the 20 buildings throughout the complex and have confirmed that many units' access to gas has been turned back on. (NBC-DFW)
  3. Fan Expo Dallas has gathered a large list of celebrities who will be attending the weekend-long event from Friday, Jun. 9 to Sunday, Jun. 11 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.
