  1. The 27th annual César E. Chávez March for Justice's theme this year is, “Finding True Life Through Service to Others.” The march will on March 25, and is to "honor the legacy of civil rights leader Cesar E. Chavez with a two-mile walk through downtown." An important point of respect this year is to recognize farmers and bring awareness to food disparities.   2. Police are searching for the suspect involved in disposing of a teen's body, after his murder. Sebastian Vasquez Carpio, 17, was reported missing and a massive search was executed when authorities later found his bike with blood on it, at a friends home. Sebastian's murderer was sentenced to 22 years in prison. His body was placed in a stolen vehicle which as later set on fire along with burning all known evidence.   3. A Northside ISD 3rd grader left school and hitched a ride with a stranger home. Colten Heemer was put in "time-out" outside of one of the school's portable classrooms. He then crawled underneath a fence, and walked toward an intersection where he waved down a truck and hopped in to be taken home. Colten was safely dropped off at his house and his mother Corey Heemer was at the very least, anxiously worried about why the school essentially, lost her child during school hours. There is an ongoing investigation regarding this incident and FOX 29 will have any future updates on this story.
