Popular San Antonio sports bar gets locked out for unpaid rent (mysanantonio.com) — Home Room, a popular sports bar near downtown San Antonio, has been locked out by its property management over alleged unpaid rent, with chains and a lockout notice on the doors. The landlord says the bar is in default on its lease, and the business appears closed until the rent dispute is resolved.

VIA unveils new VIA Link Southeast zone to expand service (ksat.com) — VIA has launched a new VIA Link Southeast zone serving a 13.8-square-mile area on San Antonio’s Southeast Side, with daily on-demand rides from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Riders can also expect more frequent buses starting in January and May, progress on the Green and Silver ART lines, and a new East Houston Street transit center within two years.
