SAISD: B-Roll: Today Agriculture Students At SAISD's Burbank High School Planted Cabbage; Harvest To Be Donated To Food Bank

Feb. 8, 2022 – Students in the agriculture program at Burbank High School today accepted a delivery of cabbage from the Landscape and Horticulture Department at Palo Alto College, part of Alamo Colleges. The high school students immediately planted the crop and will now tend to the cabbage over the next two months with the intention of donating the harvest to the San Antonio Food Bank in mid- to late-April. Burbank agriculture students annually donate a ton or more of cabbage to the food bank as part of their school program.
