Your Chamber hosted Ambassador Hynek Kmonicek from the Czech Republic on Wednesday, December 1. Accompanied by VP for Public Policy Cacie Madrid and VP for Cybersecurity and Economic Development Jeff Fair, Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez welcomed the Ambassador to San Antonio on behalf of the business community.

The Ambassador, accompanied by longtime Chamber member Bob Braubach, discussed Czech interests in San Antonio and future possibilities for increased trade and exchanges. Ambassador Kmonicek explained that the Czech Republic is known for its strong aerospace and cybersecurity sectors and that opportunities for collaboration and cross-border trade are growing. With San Antonio sharing similar growing industry sectors, we are looking forward to additional conversations with the Ambassador and possible economic development opportunities with the Czech Republic.
