It's January 1986; the Challenger space launch is several weeks away. Siblings Cash, Fitch and Bird are in the 7th grade together, and their science teacher is monitoring the space launch with fervor. The siblings live in a house with a lot of tension and cope in different ways -- from dreaming of becoming an astronaut to playing arcade games to crushing on a girl.

We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly is wonderfully told; readers will appreciate the dynamics between the siblings and how they relate to each other and their classmates, not to mention the excitement of the upcoming Challenger launch looming all around them.
