San Antonio Ranked Among 2019's Best Summer Destinations

The top summer destinations were Orlando, Austin, and Washington, D.C.

San Antonio was ranked as the 12th best summer travel destination this year according to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub. The organization compared 100 metro areas across 40 indicators of budget and fun-friendliness; including the cost of the cheapest flight, number of attractions, and average price of a two-person meal, WalletHub said in a news release.

The top summer destinations were Orlando, Austin, and Washington, D.C. Dallas was ranked behind Chicago and ahead of Las Vegas.

San Antonio ranked behind Atlanta and ahead of Oklahoma City.
