SAN ANTONIO, TX — The San Antonio Spurs have traded All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray to the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Hawks are sending Danilo Gallinari and three first-round draft picks to the Spurs in exchange for Murray, according to the report.

The picks include a 2023 first-rounder via the Charlotte Hornets and the Hawks' own 2025 and 2027 first-rounders. A 2026 pick swap also is part of the deal, sources told Wojnarowski.

Murray, selected by the Spurs with the 29th overall pick in 2016, steadily improved in each season he played in the NBA, culminating in his first All-Star Game selection in 2022. He averaged 21.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season and was fourth in the NBA with 9.2 assists per game and first in the league with two steals per game.

Murray tops the Spurs' career list with 17 triple-doubles.
