Fort Bend Deputies Exchange Gun Fire With Suspect At Houston Club
Two Fort Bend Sheriff's deputies were working security at a bar near Midtown late Sunday, and a patron began firing at them first.

HOUSTON, TX — A trendy sports bar called The Address near Midtown was the scene of a shooting early Monday morning between two Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies and one unknown man.
According to Houston police, two Fort Bend deputies were working security at The Address, located at 3333 Raleigh Street, when they noticed a disturbance between several men in the front parking lot area shortly after midnight.
One man then ran across Old Spanish Trail, where deputies saw him pull a pistol from his waist band and fire several times at other patrons. The deputies chased the suspect and yelled "police," and commanded the suspect to drop his weapon. The man stopped, turned toward the deputies and fired several times at them. The deputies, in fear of their safety and for the safety of others, fired their duty weapons back at him.
