Fort Bend Literacy Council to Hold Spelling Bee Sept. 8 in Sugar Land

The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County will hold a grownup spelling bee on Sept. 8 in Sugar Land.

SUGAR LAND, TX — The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County's 7th annual Great Grownup Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, September 8, at Constellation Field's Insperity Club, 1 Stadium Drive, in Sugar Land.

The event kicks off when the spelling bee teams arrive at 5:30 p.m. Non-contestants can begin arriving at 6:30 p.m., dinner will be served shortly thereafter.

The Literacy Council is still accepting sponsorships for the event. There are multiple levels available. There are team sponsors, word sponsors and letter sponsors.

Sponsor words will be included in the competitors word list. There are an unlimited number of letter sponsorships available.
