Blue Cat Cafe Opening Soon in East Austin

The Blue Cat Cafe is coming soon to East Austin.

It’s a cafe, to be sure, but the main objective, according to the cafe’s website, is to help “find forever homes for lovable, deserving cats. We’ll also help educate your species on what makes for a happy human/cat relationship.”

The cafe, which will be located at 95 Navasota St., will also have an onsite store for whatever cat accessories you need.

“At Blue Cat Cafe, cats come first―as it should be,” the website says. “But, plenty of effort will be made to ensure that our human patrons enjoy themselves, too. To that end, you’ll be able to spend time with our cats on a reservation or walk-in basis. And we deliver delicious fare from our food truck on the outdoor catio. We’re talking libations, relaxation, socialization, and plenty of caternization. (We’ll also be serving up lots of cat puns―just roll with it, because you catnip it in the bud.)”
