President Trump's Business Councils Fall Apart

The administration's panels of industry leaders are being disbanded after a critical mass of CEOs and other bigwigs abandoned Trump in the wake of his controversial comments following the Virginia protests. Members of one of the councils told CNBC that they had agreed, as a group, to disband the panel, but Trump attempted to subvert this move by announcing on Twitter that he was ending the councils. He said this move would avoid "putting pressure on the businesspeople." (Patch)

Passersby Ignore Public Sexual Assault

Police are looking for a man in Los Angeles who sexually assaulted a woman outside her home early in the morning last weekend. She fought of the rapist for several minutes, during which time passersby ignored the crime. L.A. Police Tuesday released video of the attack and a sketch of a man in hopes of identifying him and tracking him down. (Patch)
