Cop Becomes A Hero To Mom Twice + Music Festival Deaths + More

ACROSS AMERICA — Police officers have often gone above and beyond to help the people they serve.

That was evidenced in Island Heights, New Jersey, recently when Patrolman Rocco Mellott was a hero to a local mother not once, but twice.

First, he rescued the mother’s child from a car after the mom accidentally shut and locked the door with the keys still inside.

Kids Sickened After Pool Discoloration

Some parents had to take their kids to area emergency rooms after a "green-brown plume" was apparently released into a pool in New Jersey Saturday afternoon. Kids experienced symptoms including breathing problems, lethargy, and vomiting after leaving the pool, parents said.
