A new marijuana dispensary is on track to open on Rt. 36 in Keansburg.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Tuesday, the Rt. 71/Main Street bridge over the Shark River will be closed through at least late February 2026.
This is the New Jersey Card and Memorabilia Expo, and it will be held all day Saturday at the Secaucus Rec Center.
There will be elections for Eatontown town Council, Eatontown school board and Long Branch school board. What you need to know:

The Rutgers professor who said he must flee the country due to death threats said he was abruptly stopped from boarding his flight to Spain.
One resident, a woman, woke up to her smoke alarms going off and was able to wake her family up and safely evacuate the home:
The person was shot at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the Recreation Park parking lot on Pine Street, said police.
