I'm a registered Democrat, but my personality never allows me to be comfortable with any one group. So, I'm constantly weighing the pros and cons of major issues, and usually end up straddling the fence between party lines.
I think schools and transportation are the major issues that concern most residents of Broadneck. We've all seen how the growth spreading down Route 2 has changed towns north of the peninsula. And from what I've discussed with residents so far, retaining the character of the area is important to many people here.
Schools are also a vital element to this area, particularly with Anne Arundel Community College being located in the heart of Broadneck. Furthermore, many residents moved here for the excellent public schools in this region.
Expect to see in-depth and consistent coverage of these issues and more from me.
